The Practice will be closed for training;

Wednesday 27th September 2017 from 1pm and will be open again Thursday at our regular time.


PRACTICE NURSE & RECEPTIONIST - The Elms Medical Centre

The practice is looking to develop its team to better meet the needs of its patient population. This is busy inner-city practice of 8,200 patients (weighted 10,000). The practice has 5 GP Partners, 4 salaried GPs, a nursing team as well as a dynamic administration team. The Elms is a training practice for GP registrars. We are paperlight, use EMIS web and EPS2.

We are looking for an enthusiastic General Practice Nurse to join our friendly, forward-looking team to complement our nursing team of an ANP, 3 practice nurses and 2 HCAs. You will enable us to extend the capacity and services we currently offer to our patients.

You will ideally have recent experience within a Primary Care setting, be adaptable, highly motivated and relish a challenge. You will be registered with the NMC. Salary negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.


 

Flu Season 2017 - 18 

Drop in Flu clinics this year will be on Saturday 23rd and 30th September and Saturday 7th and 14th October and will all run from 8.30am until 1.00pm .......... no appointment necessary just "drop in"!

If you cant make the drop in sessions contact reception to book into one of our regular bookable flu clinics which will run daily throughout the month.


You can now order REPEAT prescription items online via Patient Access, speak to a receptionist about registering for this new service. 
We now have an "appointment text reminder" service running. If you would like to use this service please contact reception and make sure you update us with any changes to your mobile contact number.

They can help you to sort out any concerns that you may have about the care we provide and they can give you information about the different services which are available from the NHS.
