Cancer Care Champion

Hi, I’m Kieran I have been working at the Elms Medical centre since 2018 I started off as an apprentice after finishing off my qualification, I was offered a full-time position within the practice.

Hobbies and interest

In my spare time, I like to take my dog, Ralphie, on walks. Whether that would be in a park or on the beach. When the weather Is nice, I like to go fishing as I find it is relaxing. But the thing I love to do is follow Everton up and down the country.

The reason for me taking this role as non-clinical cancer care

I sadly lost my mum due to this illness in 2018. Ever since that, I have always wanted to work within the NHS and help other people. Especially those who have been affected by cancer, whether that would be the person who has been diagnosed with this illness or friends or family of that patient.
